The goal of the TP18 Conference is to help parishes move from maintenance to mission in response to Pope Francis' vision for Parishes: "I dream of a "missionary option", that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church's customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelisation of today's world rather than for her self-preservation" Evangelii Gaudium" (2013). The conference continues a process of promoting parish renewal around the principles laid out by Fr James Mallon is his best selling book Divine Renovation. We are delighted that Bishop Philip Egan, Bishop of Portsmouth and Paul Donders (Holland) will be keynote speakers at our conference.

Innovista Ireland are running a one day conference called 'Leading for Life' is a day of practical training, to inspire and equip all those involved in leading and serving others. Whether you are currently working by yourself, part of a team or leading a team, Leading for Life will provide an opportunity to take some time out and invest in how you can work with others more effectively. There will be time to reflect, discuss, hear stories and connect with others. We will learn with and from people involved in ministry and mission teams. And we will explore how that applies to the teams we serve with regularly, and how we can work with other groups and ministries for the sake of those we serve in our communities.

Engage Conference

Following on from last years groundbreaking event, Fortify 2017, Engage 2018 seeks to challenge, envision and equip those working with youth and young adults. It is a conference for Bishops, Priests, and Laity, exploring how we evangelise and disciple young people. Its an excellent preparation for the Synod on Youth in the Autumn.

Our Keynote Speaker is David Wells.

David has spoken at more than 300 conferences worldwide. He is a regular contributor to the Religious Education Congress at Anaheim in California, where over 30,000 delegates gather to hear some of the world’s most prolific religious writers. In the UK he has presented at conferences in every diocese in England and Wales, served on several working parties for the Bishop’s Conference of England and Wales, guest lectures at three English Universities, and in 2000 he scripted and produced the video series “You, your Children and their Catholic faith” which sold widely throughout the English speaking Church. He has published two books, The Reluctant Disciple and The Grateful Disciple, both available from Redemptorist Publications. Bishop Malcolm McMahon Chair of the Department for Education and Formation in the Bishop’s Conference described David as a “Remarkable and gifted speaker.”
